The film “The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg,” remastered in 4k resolution for its 25th anniversary, will be screened on Sunday, June 29, at 2 p.m., at Manhattan’s Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.

The documentary is about Detroit Tiger Hammerin’ Hank who transcended religious prejudice to become an American baseball icon.

Aviva Kempner, the film’s director, producer, and writer, will be in conversation about the film with Ira Berkow, Pulitzer Prize–winning New York Times columnist and editor of “Hank Greenberg: Story of My Life.” For information, go to mjhnyc.org/events/hank-greenberg-film.
