Students at Lubavitch on the Palisades’ JLI course, “Great Debates in Jewish History,” celebrated their class graduation last week. The class, taught by Rabbi Mordechai Shain, went through six periods in Jewish history when the people were torn apart by debate and controversy; students explored both the arguments and the outcomes.
