On Sunday, November 7, the rabbis of Rockland go online for the Global Day, a free day of Jewish learning sponsored by Jewish Federation & Foundation of Rockland County. This year, Rockland joins communities across six continents for the program. Participants will learn and discuss in online classes how Judaism brings us together. It’s a project of Limmud North America and is powered by the Rockland Board of Rabbis and Jewish Federation and Foundation of Rockland County.
At 9:30 a.m., Rabbi Benjamin Sharff of the Reform Temple of Rockland discusses “The Bonds Between Us.” At 11, Rabbi Paul Kurland of Congregation Shir Shalom talks about “Loss in Community.” At 12:30 p.m., Rabbi Paula Mack Drill of the Orangeburg Jewish Center tackles “Jewish Text as Sacred Connection.”
