With in-person formal gatherings off the table for now, this year’s NJFriendshipWalk, hosted by the Friendship Circle of Bergen County, will be an informal event on Sunday, September 13. Participants are encouraged to challenge themselves to walk in a place they choose, while following CDC and state guidelines. Individuals and teams can plan an activity in their backyards, neighborhood, or park, while practicing social distancing. It is an opportunity for individuals and teams to come together in spirit for a fun-filled day, while making a difference in the lives of children and young adults with special needs.
To begin the day, there will be a virtual opening ceremony on the Friendship Circle’s social media platforms. For more information, go to NJFriendshipWalk.com.
