Film on Gypsy genocide will screen at center
The Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education’s Multicultural film series continues with “A People Uncounted,” a film by David Evans, on Thursday, August 16, at 7 p.m. It will be screened at Rockland Community College’s Technology Center, Ellipse, 145 College Road, in Suffern.
The screening marks Roma and Sinti Genocide Remembrance month. It’s the story of the Roma people as they struggled to overcome their past and face renewed persecution today. A discussion with Abigail E. Miller, the school’s director of education, will follow.
