This year, Friends of the Israel Defense Forces provided holiday gift cards to some 12,700 soldiers in need and to lone soldiers now serving in the IDF. Gift cards range from $88 to $175. In total, FIDF will donate $1.75 million in cards, allowing soldiers to buy supplies like food, clothing, shoes, sports gear, electrical devices, and leisure items at about 90 major retail chain stores across Israel.
