Federation’s Onward Israel program supports lone soldier centers

Recently, lone soldiers in the Tel Aviv area and young men and women who participated in this summer’s Onward Israel program, had dinner together at the Michael Levin Lone Soldier Center in Tel Aviv. The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey provides funding for both Onward Israel and the Michael Levin Lone Soldier Centers in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The centers give lone soldiers a place to gather and to have Shabbat dinner.
