Fair Lawn JC holds holiday food drive

The Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B’nai Israel’s social action committee is holding a food drive to benefit local food pantries. Food will be collected through September 22 for donation to the Center for Food Action, St. Anne’s Catholic Church, and Fair Lawn Human Services. Suggested items include canned soups and vegetables, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, nutritional supplements (e.g. Ensure), macaroni and cheese, beans, rice, pasta, baby formula, and diapers. Supermarket gift cards are also appreciated. Donations of non-perishable food (no glass containers) can be brought to the synagogue at 10-10 Norma Avenue, during regular hours.
