Erev Shavuot in River Edge

Temple Avodat Shalom in River Edge marks erev Shavuot with a concert on Thursday, May 25, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Cantor Maria Dubinsky of the shul, a trained classical performer and opera singer, and Alesia Kizil, an accomplished Ukrainian pianist and a member of the Kharkov Theater of Opera and Ballet and the Kharkov National Institute of the Arts, will perform selections by Ukrainian and Jewish composers that break the cultural stereotypes and boundaries in a pursuit of freedom and peace.
