Englewood shul hosts gallery trip
The Dor L’Dor group at Congregation Ahavath Torah in Englewood hosts a trip to Manhattan’s Neue Galerie on November 20 to see an exhibit of artist Egon Shiele’s work. The exhibit is called Living Landscapes. The Austrian Expressionist painter’s work is noted for its intensity.
The full-day program begins at the shul at 10:30 a.m., with brunch, a lecture with slides by Englewood’s award-winning artist Sheryl Intrator Urman, transportation the museum, and snacks.
The full-day program costs $75 with reservation and payment by November 15 and includes the museum entry fee; only brunch with the lecture costs $25.
