County elected officials visit Fair Lawn camp

Last week, campers, staff, Bergen County elected officials, Fair Lawn Jewish Day Camp/Bris Avrohom Fair Lawn campers and staff, and supporters gathered for the annual group photo. This year, the camp has more 300 campers and staffers from 30 Bergen County towns. The majority of the campers do not attend Jewish day schools. The counselors are under the leadership of Rabbi Mendel and Elky Zaltzman. The camp opened 19 years ago with 50 campers. Elected officials from Bergen County presented proclamations in honor of the camp.
