Clifton JC students donate to children’s cancer fund
At the end of the school year, students at the Clifton Jewish Center’s religious school chose Ayden Pruzansky to represent them by presenting a contribution to the Tomorrows Children’s Fund at Hackensack University Medical Center. The donation will be used for pediatric cancer research. Ayden, a fourth grader, is pictured with Lynn Hossman, Tomorrows Children executive director.
Ayden also brought decorated craft boxes the school’s students made to donate to the children at the cancer center. Families brought school supplies, including crayons, stickers, notebooks, colored pencils, scissors, glue, markers, decks of cards, and pens and pencils, to fill the boxes.
The money was collected from the students’ weekly donations to a tzedakah box at the CJC religious school. A CJC teacher, Emily Schuman, supervised the donations and craft projects.
