Children’s clothing drive at Keter Torah

Children’s clothing drive at Keter Torah

The Children’s Clothing Drive/Gemach will collect children’s clothing, shoes, and coats on Sunday, July 1, and on Monday, July 2, at Congregation Keter Torah’s main ballroom in Teaneck. Donations must be in very good condition, and sized for newborns through teens. The drive benefits community members.

It would be helpful for donors to sort the clothing, bag it by age and gender, and label it. Do not leave bags outside the shul.

Volunteers also are needed to help sort and then pack the clothing from July 1 to 11, as well as to work during the shopping days, which are July 4 to 10. Shoppers can choose private or small group appointment times. No appointment is needed on the last two days — Monday, July 9, 6-8 p.m., and Tuesday, July 10, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Suggested prices are $1 per item; funds are donated to Yad Leah. Leftover clothing will be sent to Israel through Yad Leah. To make an appointment to shop or for information, email childrensclothingdrive@gmail.com.
