Children’s clothing drive at Keter Torah
The Children’s Clothing Drive/Gemach will collect children’s clothing, shoes, and coats — in very good condition, sized for newborns through teens — on Sunday, July 9, from 9 to 11 a.m., and all day on Monday, July 10, at Congregation Keter Torah’s main ballroom in Teaneck. The drive benefits community members.
It would be helpful if donors sort the clothing, bag it by age and gender, and label it. Do not leave bags outside the shul.
Volunteers also are needed to help sort and pack the clothing from July 9 to 19, as well as to work during the shopping days, which are July 12 to 19. Shopping is by appointment. No appointment is necessary, however, on the last two days — Tuesday, July 18, 6 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday, July 19, 9 to 11 a.m.
Suggested prices are $1/item; funds are donated to Yad Leah. Leftover clothing will be sent to Israel through Yad Leah.
Shoppers can choose private or small group appointment times. Everyone is invited to sign up to make an appointment to shop. For information, email childrensclothingdrive@gmail.com.
