Last week, Valley Chabad CTeen gathered outside in Woodcliff Lake to pack school supplies for children in need. The initiative was in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey. A diverse group of teens filled the backpacks with school staples, a teddy bear provided by the Bear Givers Foundation, and a personalized note for each child.

CTeen is the Valley Chabad Teen Leadership Initiative’s teen group, which gathers regularly for a variety of social and community service-oriented activities. The programs are for Jewish teens in the Pascack Valley and Saddle River towns; they’re open to all Jewish teens regardless of affiliation.
