On December 3, nearly 350 people celebrated Bris Avrohom’s 38th annual dinner and 32nd gala wedding at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel. The evening, a “Celebration of Religious Freedom,” included the traditional weddings of five couples from the former Soviet Union. To date, Bris Avrohom has married close to 950 couples who were denied the chance to have such ceremonies.

Bris Avrohom supporters Dr. Jerald Friedman and Dr. Zev Schulhof, both of Teaneck and both principals of North Jersey Oral & Maxilofacial Surgery in Teaneck, were among the honorees. Ambassador Dani Dayan, consul general of Israel, was the keynote speaker.
