Cedar Market creates community project in support of Israel
In the wake of the terror attack on Israel, Cedar Market in Teaneck recently placed an Israel-themed coloring page as their back-page newspaper ad. Readers were asked to submit the colored artwork to the store to be included in a special project they were featuring. As a way of saying thanks, each submitted drawing was rewarded with an instant cash savings on their transaction. With over 250 submissions, Cedar Market created a heartfelt display across the front windows of the store with all the drawings.
“The way Cedar Market incorporated creativity from the children to be showcased for positivity, is very uplifting and touching,” said Atara Solow, the executive director at American Friends of Migdal Ohr, who Cedar Market partnered with, in a matching campaign, supporting the displaced families through Israel since the October 7 devastation.
Cedar Market encourages you to admire the drawings from the children in the community when you visit the store. It’s a heartwarming and sentimental experience. Together, as one nation, we will prevail. Am Yisroel Chai!
