CareOne executive honored as a Leading Intrapreneur

Elizabeth Straus, CareOne’s executive vice president, was honored as one of New Jersey’s top 25 Leading Women Intrapreneurs for her commitment to innovation, corporate diversity, and philanthropy. She was recognized with other women executives in the category at the Top 25 Leading Women Intrapreneurs celebration on October 16 at the Liberty House in Jersey City.

Earlier this year Ms. Straus and her father, Daniel Straus, CareOne’s president and CEO, were the joint recipients of the Make-A-Wish New Jersey Foundation’s 2017 Humanitarian of the Year award; CareOne was honored as the 2017 Corporation of the Year.

On October 19, Ms. Straus spearheaded “Starry Night Masquerade,” a Puerto Rico relief effort organized by CareOne and InnovaCare at the Skylight Clarkson North in Manhattan. Ms. Straus was a NJBiz 40 Under 40 winner, a recipient of the Community Resource Council of Northern New Jersey’s Harry Brandeis award, and a 2015 finalist for the NJBiz Healthcare Heroes awards program.

CareOne, a family-owned health care company, has more than 31 centers in New Jersey.
