Cantor Romalis is honored on his 80th birthday

Wayne’s Temple Beth Tikvah recently celebrated the 80th birthday of its beloved cantor emeritus, Charles Romalis. The cantor and his family joined in songs, shared special words in his honor, and celebrated with homemade treats.

Cantor Romalis served 60 years as a cantor, teaching more than 2,500 bar and bat mitzvah and confirmation students and performing life cycle events with care, love, gentleness, empathy, and support.
