Brightview Tenafly hosting pet adoption
Brightview Tenafly, a pet-friendly senior living community in Tenafly, is hosting Puppypalooza, a fundraising and adoption event, on the weekend of June 18.
Adoptable dogs from the Bergen County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center will be at Brightview Tenafly, 55 Hudson Ave. Agency representatives will talk about pet ownership and the importance of choosing the right pet, considering such factors as breed, age, and temperament. Raffles and concessions will also be part of the festivities.
“Research shows that pet ownership has a number of proven health benefits for people, including physical, mental, and emotional improvements,” said Brightview Tenafly’s executive director, Toni Musto. “Seniors especially benefit. Bringing the community together to support this worthy cause is important to us.” Brightview Tenafly has been serving seniors and their families — and their dogs — since 2015.
All proceeds benefit Bergen County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.
