Book discussion unites communities
Alina Adams
Alina Adams discusses her novel, “The Nesting Dolls,” for an online One Book, One Community meeting. It’s for a partnership among the JCC of Northern New Jersey, JCC MetroWest, JCC of Central Jersey, and the Jewish Book Council.
The book is about three generations of a Soviet Jewish family, in the 1930s, the 1970s, and today, in Odessa and Brighton Beach. Three women struggle to survive through what history throws at them. A question and answer session follows.
