AMIT will host Daniel Silva, a #1 New York Times best-selling author, for a discussion of his new book, “House of Spies,” on Monday, July 10,
7 p.m. Elissa and Michael Katz of Bergenfield are chairing the talk. Silva, the author of 20 novels, is best known for his series featuring art restorer Gabriel Allon, who also is an assassin and an Israeli secret agent. Before becoming a novelist, Silva was the executive producer of CNN’s talk-show unit. In “House of Spies,” Silva turns his attention to the post-9/11 world and the global war on terror, as Gabriel Allon tries to hunt down the world’s most dangerous terrorist, a shadowy ISIS mastermind known only as Saladin. The discussion is at the Ramaz School, 60 East 78th St., in Manhattan. A book signing and dessert reception will follow the talk.
