Blueberry pie plus a bonus with new products for BBQs and summer hair (not together)
With an abundance of Jersey blueberries in the supermarkets now, I thought it would be great to include an easy recipe for a yummy pie. I regret asking readers to turn on their ovens to bake – although it is just for a short while – but you will enjoy when done.
I am sure most families, like ours, is sticking to cooking outdoors and not adding heat to the kitchen with the oven. It is with that in mind, that I am adding a short write up about a great product for barbecues.
As for the promo for hair products, as I look at myself in the mirror and see my out of control frizz, I felt it necessary to share these wonderful helpers to help tame this problem.

Hope everyone is holding up with the intense heat and drinking lots of water. This is so important. Until next time. BMC

Ouidad has created a new collection of “Wave Create” hair products for warm weather and year-round use. Humidity creates problems for people who have curly or frizzy hair. Ouidad’s new collection promises to produce “touchable and effortless waves” without even a hint of an ocean breeze. Its new products, Sea Spray and Texture Taffy, will turn any hair texture into coveted “day at the beach” waves.
Sea Spray is made of natural seawater and mineral-rich sea salt crystals, along with algae extracts to condition and help maintain elasticity. The product is rich in B12 amino acids and kelp seaweed extract for shine and Panthenol.
Texture Taffy is a marine complex that is high in vitamins and minerals to condition and add softness and shine. Milk thistle extract is a botanical extract, rich in antioxidants to moisturize.
