When the Jerusalem Light Rail was first built it was hailed as a progressive step toward bringing Israel’s multi-cultural capital together. Later it became a symbol of an uprising that reached the capital and included rocks and firebombs.

Filmmaker Adam Wishart, a British Jew, visited Jerusalem for this BBC documentary and rides the train while aiming to document the inequality it allegedly represents.

He speaks with Arabs and Jews about major religious holy sites each side is battling for. Could this fighting ultimately turn into a full fledged war?
