Paramus Police Captain James Teehan presented “Fraud Prevention — Stop the Scams and Schemes — It’s Not Just for the Elderly!” at a breakfast program at the JCC of Paramus/Congregation Beth Tikvah on May 19. Paramus Police Detective Brian Doughty, a JCC of Paramus congregant, joined Capt. Teehan. The well-attended program gave many useful tips on how to avoid being a victim of common scams.
The program was sponsored by the JCCP/CBT’s Security Committee, with its Sisterhood and Men’s Club, along with Congregation Beth Tefillah of Paramus.
