The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly hosts the touring exhibition “Asbury Shorts — An Evening of the World’s Best Short Films” on Tuesday, June 28, at 7:30 p.m. The exhibit includes award-winning films, curated from the top global film festivals; it features a mix of Oscar Award-winners and nominees in short film comedy, drama, animation, and documentary. Films include “Fait d’hiver,” directed by Dirk Belien; “The Timmy Brother’s Water,” directed by Paul Riccio, and “Hypothetically,” directed by Peter Zinn.
