“Meditation,” a new painting by Englewood artist Rachelle Weisberger, is on display at the Queens College Art Center in Flushing, NY, as part of the group show called “60 Together, 100 Strong.”

“Little did I know as a student at Queens College 60 years ago that I would one day be exhibiting my artwork at my alma mater,” Ms. Weisberger said. The exhibit, sponsored by the New York Society of Women Artists, runs through May 1.

Ms. Weisberger is an active member of the NYSWA board, which was founded in 1925 and now represents 60 painters, sculptors, and graphic artists.

Ms. Weisberger’s work evokes psychological and spiritual themes. It has been exhibited in leading galleries in the tri-state area and is represented in private collections. She’s also the author of “Biblical Beauty: Ancient Secrets and Modern Solutions.” She is a member of the East Hill Synagogue and Congregation Ahavath Torah in Englewood.

A lifelong supporter of Israel, she is affiliated with AMIT, Emunah of America, Hadassah, and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. For more information, go to rachelleweisberger.com.
