- The eighth National Russian Shabbaton was held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Stamford, Conn. Participants included Rabbi Mordechai and Shterney Kanelsky, executive and associate director of Bris Avrohom in Fair Lawn. Sofa Landver, Israel’s Minister of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption, pictured center, was a guest speaker.
