Angels and free will
Thanks to Yitzchok Weinberger for his thoughtful response to my concern about angels reciting kedusha though they have no free will (“Angels on the Garden State,” June 21). Hardly anyone to whom I have posed this question in the past decade or so has been able to formulate an answer. However, unless I am missing something, Mr. Weinberger’s solution is not entirely satisfactory, since he seems to posit that angels have no free will – except when they do.
