I compliment Rachel Tabachnick for her July 29 article regarding Glenn Beck and his dangerous themes and take exception to reader Rita D. Lutzer of Ramsey when she says Glenn Beck is a friend of the Jews and “we should be embracing our few friends, instead of pushing them away.” As the cliché goes, with friends like Beck who needs enemies?
Glenn Beck is the darling of the right wing. He was terminated from his Fox TV program recently, given that many sponsors pulled their advertising. He constantly makes false accusations.
How anyone can take Glenn Beck seriously is beyond me when he offends Jews by likening them to Nazis or by likening Reform rabbis to Islamists, then he apologizes and then offends again.
I find it hard for intelligent people to buy into what he says and praise him.
