‘We are not afraid

My 20-year-old daughter, Arianna, had reservations to go to Israel with Taglit/Birthright recently, and it was without reservation that my wife and I sent her despite the situation in Gaza. Yes, there is anxiety and worry, but we American Jews must demonstrate to the world that we are not afraid to support our Israel.

It was so uplifting to see over 80 Jewish young adults waiting on line at El Al security at JFK, ready to go on such a memorable venture. Let this be an example for all of us to be there for Israel politically, financially, spiritually, and physically.
