‘Struggle for pedestrian rights’
Thank you for including me in your “Newsmakers of 2010” article in last week’s Standard. I appreciate the attention to my struggle for pedestrian rights; however, I need to correct a mistake. It was stated in the article that several witnesses saw the driver who killed my son talking on a cell phone. This is not true. My husband and I were outraged that there was no drug or alcohol testing done, nor were the driver’s cell phone records checked. We will continue to fight for driver accountability.
