A call for civility - The Jewish Standard

It’s good that you ran Rita D. Lutzer’s letter in which she wrote, “How stupid are we Jews for . . . being critical of the few friends, like Glenn Beck, we have in the world? In this time of delegitimizing Israel by most of the world, we should be embracing our few friends, instead of pushing them away.” It immediately followed Steven Eidman’s letter in which he derided two pro-Israel female politicians as “silly geese” and “pro-Zionist geese.” Here’s a question for Eidman: Can’t you just disagree with other people without resorting to name-calling?
