WATCH: Trump thanks his “Jewish daughter”

Donald Trump, speaking at the Algemeiner’s gala earlier this year, said: “I want to thank my Jewish daughter – I have a Jewish daughter. It wasn’t in the plan, but I’m very glad it happened.”

Trumps daughter Ivanka converted with an Orthodox rabbi and married Jared Kushner, whose philanthropist family is well known in the New Jersey jewish community.
