Tryouts under way
Now that school is back in full swing, athletes are diving into the preseason. After completing the first full week of school for the year, tryouts are starting to wind down. Anticipation fills the halls as athletes check the bulletin boards frequently throughout the day in hopes of finding their names listed on the final rosters. Many teams have already been posted, while the rest are holding second cuts and preparing to finalize their squads. The athletes are also busy practicing, perfecting their shots, getting back into shape, and learning to work with their new teammates.
Player to watch this fall: Frisch sophomore Judah Cohen is the first underclassman in years to make the boys varsity basketball team.
