The Leonard & Syril Rubin Nursery School at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly holds an open house on Friday, January 18, from 9:15 to 10:30 a.m. Participants will have the opportunity to join in the school’s weekly Tot Shabbat program and receive a tour of the school, which offers a warm, child-centered, progressive curriculum rooted in Jewish values that encourages children to become confident, responsible, and successful learners by exploring new concepts in a fun and nurturing environment.

The school’s core curriculum features exposure to reading and math readiness skills, logical thinking and problem solving skills, social and emotional growth opportunities, fine and gross motor skill activities, sensory experiences, Judaic programming, art, music, dramatic play and cooking, gym and swimming, and preparation for kindergarten and beyond.

The state-licensed, accredited program provides unique, multidimensional activities for 3-month-olds to 5-year-olds. To meet the varying needs of individual families, the school offers half-day, full-day, and extended-day options.

Registration is open for the 2019-2020 school year. For more information, go to jccotp.org/nsopenhouse or call (201) 408-1436.
