Norpac hosts two representatives during Republican fundraiser
Last week, the Kazmir family hosted a Norpac meeting in Closter for Congressmen Kevin Brady and Michael McCaul, both Texas Republicans.
Kevin Brady chairs the House Ways and Means Committee, with jurisdiction over taxes, health care, Social Security, Medicare, international trade, and welfare. Michael McCaul chairs the Homeland Security Committee, which seeks to address the al Qaeda-Hezbollah terrorist threat, border security, and cyber security while ensuring that the Department of Homeland Security can carry out its core mission — to protect the United States. The private meeting was held to raise funds for the Republican National Congressional Committee. Mr. Brady and Mr. McCaul answered questions about national security, taxes, and the U.S.-Israel relationship. Both are running for re-election in November.
