On Sunday, October 24, Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey held its annual celebration; this year it honored Helen Graf and Debbie Harris. More than 180 people gathered for the agency’s first such party since the onset of the pandemic. It was held in the outdoor tent at Alpine Country Club in Demarest, and the food was by RAM Caterers. Both new and familiar faces came to celebrate JFCS’s mission — helping those in our community who are in need — while paying tribute to the honorees.
JFCS is 98 percent of the way to reaching its fundraising goal, ensuring that it can continue to provide vital services to all who need them. Its four pillars of support — mental health, older adult, food insecurity services, and basic needs assistance — are how JFCS has become a safety net for our communities. Donations help that mission continue. JFCS is a social services agency that serves Bergen, Passaic, and Hudson counties, dedicated to ensuring the well-being of everyone in the community who needs help. No matter your situation, JFCS is there to help. For more information, go to jfcsnnj.org or call (201) 837-9090.
