Jerusalem’s No. 1

Travel and Leisure magazine has named Jerusalem the No. 1 city in Africa and the Middle East in its 2010 World’s Best Awards.

Tel Aviv came in at No. 3. According to The Jerusalem Post, Jerusalem’s Mayor Nir Barkat hopes to use the ranking to increase tourism to the city to 10 million visitors a year.
