Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey held a menorah lighting in Jersey City that also commemorated the two-year anniversary of the shooting in the Jersey City kosher market that killed six people, including a police officer. The ceremony was held on December 2 at Jersey City City Hall on Grove Street. A menorah was lit and there was a moment of silence memorializing the victims.
