Introduction to Judaism class

The New Jersey Rabbinical Assembly offers a comprehensive Introduction to Judaism class. In-person classes in Hoboken and in Morristown will alternate with classes online; there is also a fully online option.

The virtual class will take place on Sunday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In Hoboken, in-person classes will be on Wednesdays from 7 to 9:30 p.m.; in Morristown, they will meet on Thursdays from 7 to 9:30 p.m. All classes start in late October/early November.

The course is oriented towards a wide variety of people, including potential Jews by Choice and their partners, non-Jews raising Jewish children, and anyone who wants to learn more about their heritage. Learning basic Hebrew reading is part of the course. Financial aid is available.
