CTeen Shavuot cheesecake bake

Valley Chabad’s annual springtime favorite, the CTeen Shavuot Cheesecake Bake, was held on Zoom on May 27. Each year Estie Orenstein, Chabad CTeen’s director, hosts the teens for a cheesecake bake; this year, the 20 participants received the delivered ingredients and joined for the instruction. Rabbi Yosef Orenstein, Estie’s husband and the program’s co-director, began with relevant insights on the holiday. CTeen, part of Valley Chabad’s Teen Leadership Initiative, brings together Jewish teens for fun, volunteering, and educational activities, regardless of affiliation.
