Bad manners
The editorial staff of a Jewish newspaper represents a leadership position of substantial responsibility. This responsibility was poorly displayed by your July 22 page 5 quotation of Michele Bachmann in large print on her slight mispronunciation of the Yiddish term for arrogance. For some reason women with a conservative platform cause this paper to publish things that are below the “Standard” quality. These women play a substantial role in America’s leadership, most are excellent friends of the Jewish community, and almost all are devoted to the survival of Israel. They do not deserve immature mocking from this otherwise esteemed group of writers.
