Lubavitch on the Palisades begins “Communication: Its Art and Soul,” a six-week course from the Jewish Learning Institute. The rise of the internet, mobile phones, and social media has completely changed the way people relate, interact, and communicate with one another. The course aims to teach how to reclaim the lost art of communication.
The course will contrast Jewish thought with scientific discovery to better ourselves, our relationships, and society. The goal is to make participants better parents, spouses, co-workers, friends, and people.
Medical and mental health professionals, including social workers and family therapists, can earn continuing education credits for attending the class, which is led by Rabbi Mordechai Shain. It begins on January 23, at 8 p.m., at Lubavitch on the Palisades, 11 Harold St., in Tenafly.
