Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey’s March Mitzvah Madness month-long campaign of doing good deeds finished up with high scores. The campaign challenged community members and organizations to be mitzvah entrepreneurs throughout the month. There were over 40 pop-up stands that packed and donated over 6,000 smile kits, activity books, and snack packs. At the mega food drive, 8,000 lbs of food were sorted and distributed to food pantries all over northern New Jersey. At the Super Sunday phone-a-thon, almost $300,000 was raised in just one day. Our community really scored big!!
