What’s that? A cure for deafness?

Israeli scientists announced to The Jerusalem Post that they may be on track to a cure for deafness.

Pretty neat, right? Granted the research isn’t anywhere close to human testing yet but this is quite promising news. And, according to the article, Karen Avraham of Tel Aviv University is originally from New Jersey. I’ll see if I can find out where exactly.
