WATCH: Muslim women visiting Miami synagogues say they wanted friends
Wave of suspicion and alerts triggered, but hijab-wearing women say they were just interested in learning about Judaism
They showed up at synagogues asking about prayer times and other questions that set off alarm bells for local security.
But a local news station tracked them down and asked what they were really looking for.
They say it was companionship and more information on Judaism. Is an apology in order?
