Lyrics:

The summer’s over, so now it’s time To start brainstorming song ideas for our new Hanukkah video I’ll write some lyrics, make sure they rhyme! We should do a magic theme like they do on those TV shows Heard this great song the other day It’s got this crazy rhythm, the band’s Toto, it’s called Africa I just saw Stomp on Broadway! Cory, we’re an a cappella group! What are we gonna do this year for Chanukkah? Chaim’s magic, Cory’s stomps or Toto’s Africa? I’ll use this candle for my magic trick It’s gonna take some time to do but what about our fans? I think we should definitely do a beat-box solo in this song I’m just saying Toto’s Africa is so much better than this stomp Okay that first trick was a bust But wait until you see this next one I’ve been keeping up my sleeve I’ve been practicing on the bus, Laying down new rhythms that can stand up to the Maccabeats I think this wig brings out my eyes! Alright guys I’ve had about enough! Do you have any GOOD ideas for Hanukkah? Chaim’s magic, Cory’s stomps and now Weezer’s “Africa” I’ll use this dreidel for my magic trick It’s gonna take some time to do but it’s worth it in the end This is getting really out of hand! We just made our video for Hanukkah! I can’t believe we actually went with Toto’s Africa Now everyone’s gonna see my magic tricks! I bless the candles in my menorah I bless the candles’ light on Hanukkah I bless the rains down in Africa I bless the man who made this sufganiya It really took some time to do but it was worth it in the end Happy Hanukkah from Shir Soul!
