Thanksgiving in Teaneck
Seniors, veterans, emergency service workers, and families that need a place to spend Thanksgiving are welcome to lunch on Thursday, November 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Rain, at 400 Cedar Lane in Teaneck. Food is donated by Dougies, Chopstix, and Butterflake.
The lunch, co-sponsored by Teaneck VFW 1429 and Age Friendly Teaneck, is hosted by Janice Preschel, director of Teaneck’s Helping Hands Food Pantry, along with Mohammed Hameeduddin, Elie Y. Katz, Mark Schwartz, and Dean Kazinci.
Rides can be arranged and volunteers are needed. Everyone is welcome; you don’t have to live in Teaneck. There will be a collection of shampoo and body wash for the pantry. For information or reservations, email Katz07666@gmail.com.
