Teaneck Township Council okays Holocaust Memorial Project
With a vote of 5 ayes and 2 abstentions, the Teaneck Township Council approved the creation of the Northern New Jersey Holocaust Memorial & Education Center to be built on the Teaneck Municipal Green. According to Steve Fox, the project’s co-chair.
“The final approval from the Council solidifies our efforts to get our project to the next stage. We now have to make a strong fundraising push to get a shovel in the ground in the next few months. We want to thank the Mayor and the Council members for their vote of confidence and look forward to blessing our community with an amazing, interactive, Holocaust educational experience along with a mechanism to honor the victims.”
